Acer’s Android devices will have pre-installed Microsoft applications
Satya Nadella has changed many things at Microsoft since I took command of the company in February 2014. The philosophy of the software giant changed abandoning heavy as Windows and Office in its fundamental pillars to adopt a mentality “mobile first, cloud first” pesos to transform products into services. This change meant that the Redmond open their applications across platforms in order to offer their services through all possible means.
The approach is based Microsoft services, especially in productivity and mobility as we saw after releasing Office applications for iOS and Android. Now, the strategy of the company is to present its services are also outside of Windows for what is coming to agreements with certain vendors for applications including factory go on their devices.
According to ZDNet , Microsoft Acer accompany the adventure to introduce its services in the Android ecosystem. Specifically, the agreement with the Taiwanese manufacturer certifies that the next Android devices Acer will have Office Mobile applications with OneDrive and Skype. Thus, the flagship applications in productivity of Microsoft will be in smartphones and tablets of 74 partners in 25 countries.
We must remember that many reputable manufacturers have joined Microsoft to provide its services as Dell or Samsung. It is not known what benefits do these brands by introducing services Microsoft in its hardware, although recent rumors suggest benefits or exemptions when it comes to royalties on patents owned by the US company to pay.
