Apple will begin offering installation of screen protectors for iPhone
Apple retail stores in Japan have started a new service for customers: Installation of screen protectors for iPhone for a fee.
Many, perhaps most, iPhone users choose to buy a screen protector in plastic or glass to prevent scratches and reduce the risk of fractures in the screen.
Apple has long sold such protection, but not helped its customers to apply them. Many small shops selling accessories perform, however the service, and now Apple seems to have changed the setting.
Mac Otakara reports that Apple retail stores in Japan have gained devices from Belkin that automates the process of applying protections. The price for the customer varies between 2180 and 4280 yen for a protection.
According to AppleInsider expected service even come to the company’s stores in other countries shortly.
