LeEco launches LeMax Sapphire and Le 1S smartphones
LeTV, a Chinese handset maker was recently renamed as LeEco. It is going to make a debut in the Indian smart phone market with the launch LeEco Max smart phone. The flagship phone of the company is Le Max Sapphire which has a sapphire glass display making it very difficult to crack. The flagship phone is priced at INR 69,999, making it more expensive as compared to iPhone 6S whose base variant costs around INR 62,000. The company plans sale of only 1000 units in India which would be available via only invites.
The company also released two variants of Le Max in India having different storage options i.e. 64GB and 128GB with a pricing of INR 32,999 and INR 36,999, respectively. The smart phone will be on sale from 16th Feb on Flipkart. Le Max smart phone has a 6.33-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2,560×1,440 pixels. The phone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone has 4GB RAM and a 3,400mAh battery. The phone sports a 21MP rear camera which has Sony IMX230 sensor and a 4MP camera front camera with OmniVision (OV4688) sensor and 81.6-degree wide-angle lens. The phone also features Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB Type C.
Le 1S smart phone was also launched by LeEco that has a 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, a 5MP camera in the front and a 13 MP rear camera. The phone has an aluminium body and weighs less than an iPhone 6S, around 169 grams.
The smart phone has a bezel-less design with an all-metal body. The phone is powered by a Helio X10 Turbo octa-core processor. The camera has a capture rate of 0.09-second as per company claims. Flash sale for the phone starts on February 2 at 12pm whose registration starts on January 20 at 6PM and continues till 11am of February 2.
